Getting a Scottish Ringtone in the USA, is now as straightforward as it is in Europe. This is because we now send our text messages to the USA and Canada directly from our servers, rather than via the Internet.
Previously we sent all text messages via the internet, and a small but growing number of USA networks were insisting that before an organisation can send SMS messages onto their networks from the internet, they must register & purchase a short-code, which was prohibitively expensive. This measure was justified as it discouraged "SPAM" text messages, but unfortunately it also blocked our sms messages.
